On March 9, 2026, Mr. David Gregosz, a member of the Bundestag, led a delegation from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung to visit the Shanghai Institution for European Studies (SIES). Mr. Gregosz, Tim Peter (European Competitiveness Policy Advisor from the Department of Economics and Innovation of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung), David Merkle (Chief Representative of the Shanghai Office), Dr. Zhuang Chenzhan (Project Manager), and other delegates exchanged views with SIES experts on “China-Germany and China-Europe Relations.” President Ding Chun introduced the overview of SIES to the guests. Participants from SIES included Professor Zheng Chunrong, Director of the German Professional Committee; Professor Wu Huiping, Vice President; Dr. Yang Haifeng, Secretary-General; Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Secretary-General; as well as Dr. Dai Yichen, Dr. Wang Le, Dr. Wu Jiwei, and Director Zhu Yichen, among others.
