On October 15, 2025, the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) convened a working meeting of its Academic Research Department. Attendees included President Ding Chun, Secretary-General Yang Haifeng, Academic Research Department Director Xue Sheng, Consultancy and Training Department Director Zhu Yichen, and Academic Research Department members Li Guanjie, Jiang Yunfei, Jiang Zunze, Yan Shaohua, Yan Xiaoxiao, among others. The meeting outlined specific arrangements for soliciting submissions for the Youth Forum. Participants engaged in a situation analysis concerning trilateral relations between China, the United States and Europe from a European perspective.
